It is more of a schedule than the basic daily routine. Sometimes other physical or mental factors hinder the effective performance of the tasks. These are like, fatigue, stress, boredom, laziness, and the cravings to do other activities that seem more fun than the important stuff. In the end, they have to force themselves up to the tasks or give up and do other enjoyable stuff, then come to regret as time passes. The self-ability that maintains a person to complete a task regardless of what they prefer to do is willpower.The environment is not simple and obvious as we see. It has a colossal effect on how we do things and how we make decisions. In an experiment to prove, that the environment holds the key to habit change, a physician in Massachusetts and colleagues changed the environment of the hospital cafeteria. They switched the soda refrigerators with baskets of drinking water and examined the behavior of people in the cafeteria. Surprisingly, no one complained, and the sale of soda reduced, and sales of bottled water improved drastically. The people adapted to what they found in the environment.
