The Best Things to Avoid When Writing a Compare and Contrast Essay

The Best Things to Avoid When Writing a Compare and Contrast EssaySince so many people ask me for different topics to write a compare and contrast essay on, I thought I would start this article by sharing with you some things that you should not put into the topic. These are things that many students do when they don't know the topic or they just want to do something funny or unique.First, avoid articles with titles like 'Why'Who'. You can easily get caught up in these topics when your topic isn't as deep as it could be. But you should try to stick to subjects that will cover a lot of topics. These are topics that will either get you a lot of attention or get you a lot of good grades.Second, make sure that your topic is something that is new and different to most people. This means that it's a topic which is made up from the student's own experiences.Third, never write on topics that will just make everyone laugh. The only thing you want to accomplish here is to come across as smart, which is not what you are going for when writing an essay.Fourth, make sure that you do not put too much information in your essay. For example, if you're writing about an invention, there should be no more than four to five sentences regarding the invention. If you make it too long, it will appear as if you are trying to impress the reader.Fifth, don't give the reader information they need to know before they have read the whole essay. Sometimes, we find ourselves having to go back and reread everything in the essay, and this can be time consuming and it can even seem kind of useless. So, you see, there are some topics that you just shouldn't write about. Keep in mind that if you do have to write on a certain topic, you want to make sure that the topic you choose will be a topic that will make the reader want to read on.
